Having someone to talk to, who is there specifically to listen to you talk about your feelings, is an invaluable tool to many people. Many people feel more comfortable talking to a trained professional than a friend or family member.

The counsellor is essentially a stranger that will listen to you with an unbiased and non-judgement perspective.

The counselling will be person-centered and delivered by a qualified and very experienced counsellor along with year 2 volunteer counselling students on placement, specifically focussing on issues related to alcohol and other drugs, working with people where their relationship with substances is a driving force behind their need for counselling.

We will be offering sessions at £20 for 50 minutes, sessions being weekly, with a course of counselling recommended to last anywhere between 6-8 weeks and will require sessions to be paid in advance. These sessions can either be in person or over the phone, whichever suits your needs better.
