Sober Social is more than just a building! It's a place where all sorts of people come together and do exciting things, learn new skills and give back to their community. You don't have to have a problem with alcohol or other drugs to get involved. Based at 18 Priory Place and open;Monday - 10-6Tuesday 11-6Wednesday - 10-6.30Thursday - 10-6.30Friday 10-6.30Sober Social is an opportunity to make new connections and meet peers. Upon arriving you'll be greeted by a trained volunteer or staff member who will ask you a few questions, to make sure that Sober Social is right for you. We only ask that you are: 18+ Sober when engaging (that means no alcohol or other drugs) Ready to get involved We'll take a few details from you and ask you a few questions, just to make sure you're ready, and then you'll be given the chance to get involved and see if it's for you. Most of our activities are free, but some carry a small charge, they will have a (£) sign on them on the timetable. Our timetables can be viewed on the website and outside the building. If there's any skills or experiences you'd like to share with other people and want a space on our timetable, just get in touch. We also have a great variety of food and drink, all served and prepared by our wonderful volunteers at subsidised rates! Our menu is below.
